Read a different version of the story and then complete the sheet about vocabulary to describe the characters.

 

    Challenge: Rewrite the story. Take your time (even over several days)

    Try to do the following:

    • include interesting adjectives
    • use adverbs 
    • start sentences in different ways (see the fronted adverbials word mat for ideas)
    • have a little bit of speech for dramatic effect
    • think where you need to start a new paragraph (new person, new place, new time)
