2017 SAT results

This year all schools undertook the government's new, much harder, SAT tests at Key Stage 2 and key Stage 1.

Children who sat the 2017 SATs achieved the following scores:

Reading 74% at Age Related Expectation (72%)  26% achieved high standard
Writing 86% at Age related Expectation (76%) % 28% achieved high standard
Grammar Punctuations & Spelling 93% (76%) 30% achieved high standard
Maths 89% at Age related Expectation (75%) 31% achieved a high standard

Reading, Writing and Maths Combined 70% (61%) 22% achieved a high standard

Reading average scaled score 104.3 in 2017 compared to 102.5 in 2016
Maths average scaled 106.7 in 2017 compared to 103.1 in 2016
GPS average scaled score 107.5 in 2017 compared to 104.5 in 2016

Progress Maths +1.9

83% of EYFS children reached a GLD (70%)

87% of children in Year 1 met the required standard for phonics (81%)
